FLEAS AND TICKS
With the arrival of spring and summer, there is not only an increase in temperatures and humidity, but also an increase in the number of insects and/or parasites that attack our pets. Fleas and ticks are vectors of diseases, being the most prominent among dogs and cats.
Fleas go through four stages: egg, larva, pupa and adult. The eggs are small and white. The larvae feed on particles of dried blood, excrement, and organic substances, while the adult flea is already able to detect approaching its host through heat or movement.
If you have pets, it is advisable to carry out a flea and tick prevention treatment in order to maintain a space free of pests, which are very dangerous both for your pets and for people. If the plague has advanced, we suggest a fumigation against fleas and ticks, since we use a pyrethroid insecticide with knockdown effect that acts by contact and ingestion to control this type of problems.
We recommend to keep in plastic boxes all your pet's accessories, such as food, food dishes and even toys. The insecticide we use is not harmful to your pet, however, it may be sensitive to contact, and we prefer to avoid it.
